Innova Therapy counsellors/therapists have received professional training and qualifications at the Masters-degree level from different accredited institutions of higher learning. We are members of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association, or the BC College of Social Workers (BCCSW).
We carry the certification Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) or Registered Social Worker.
The services that our clients receive from us and the professional fees that we charge reflect our training, professionalism and experience. Our clients can expect to receive a consistently high level of service from us at anytime, anywhere.
Initial Consultation with a Therapist:
Free for a 15-minute session for all first-time clients (read more here)
Sessions with a RCC, CCC, or RSW:
$135 – $150 +GST for a 50-minute session
For couples or families:
$150 – $180 +GST for a 50-minute session
Sessions with a Counselling Intern: $80 +GST for a 50-minute session for individuals, $90+GST for a 50-min session for couples/families
Clinical Supervision & Consultations: $140+GST and up
Nutrition & Dietetics
Innova Therapy Inc.’s dietitians have attained professional and graduate-level training in nutrition and dietetics from different accredited institutions of higher learning, and have met the strict guidelines and requirements of the College of Dietitians of BC.
Our dietitians carry the professional designation Registered Dietitians.
Our professional fees reflect our training, our years of experience in various healthcare settings, and our professionalism.
- 75-minute Initial session $150 +GST
- 50-minute Follow-up sessions $100 +GST
- 30-min Virtual check-in’s $50+GST
Payment and Receipts
Payment is due at the end of each session and may be paid by debit, Amex, Visa or MasterCard.
Official receipts are issued upon payment, with all the information you need to make a claim from your insurance provider.
Clients are encouraged to settle any outstanding invoices prior to their next session. Failure to do so may result in the automatic cancellation of their next session without notice.
Reminders and Cancellation Policy
We would encourage you to give us at least 48 hours advance notice for the cancellation of appointments, so that others desiring an appointment can have the opportunity to do so.
We do not want you to miss appointments, so we will send you an email reminder 2 days before your appointment, and a text message 24 hours before your appointment.
Clients who provide late cancellations of less than 24 hours or who miss their appointments, will be charged the full fee of the missed appointment.
