My goal as a therapist is to help you regain balance, feel connected and restore optimal functioning by developing self -awareness, recognizing your problems, making life style changes, and building meaningful relationships.
I believe that you are the expert of your life. I would be with you to help you explore and discover your strengths and resilience to live your life to the full and to improve your support in terms of conflict, stress, or difficult life events. I focus on increasing personal knowledge, developing healthy coping skills, forming healthy relationships, and helping you to adjust to your environment to ameliorate the stress.
I have been always fascinated and inspired by people’s stories. My passion and interest in people inspired me to come to the counseling field. I started my career as a teacher; however, teaching was not satisfying my interests, so I decided to become a clinical social worker who can also incorporate teaching in the counselling approach. I have always believed that we all have strengths and resilience that can help us when we are faced with life challenges and struggles. Sometimes, we just need someone who can empower us to explore our strengths and build on them.

I have been a mental health therapist since 2005. I have worked with adult clients with mental health issues, trauma, and addictions. I have provided therapeutic counselling services to a variety of clients including individuals, groups, and families.
