Life often does not turn out the way we planned. Things happen (or a lack of things happen) that cause us to feel defeated, to suffer, and leave us searching for answers. It’s time to slow down and stop beating yourself up. I will help you draw from your natural strengths in striving to find new meaning.

I am an educator, a husband, a father of three, and I offer a genuine, caring, and warm presence where you can make sense of your suffering, unveil your potential, and become fully alive. I believe that by providing a safe and non-judgemental space to explore and gain understanding of the problems you face, you can experience healing and positive change in your life.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a member in good standing of the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors.

I am experienced in counselling adults, couples, and adolescents. I have a holistic view of my clients and believe that true healing requires an integration of all aspects of the human person.

Depending on the need of the client, I draw from a blend of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Existential Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

For clients who are interested, I have experience integrating religious and spiritual elements into the therapeutic context.

My Areas of Focus

I invite you to schedule a 15-minute free consultation to discuss your situation and needs. I offer in-person counselling in our Maple Ridge office, as well as virtual counselling, and I have openings for evening appointments.
