Glory Mulera, RCC | Innova Therapy Vancouver & Online

My passion for mental health and wellness started developing in childhood. As the youngest in a family of six, I grew curious about the relationship dynamics, intrapersonal foundations, and perceived opportunities that shape life experiences.

I have witnessed many individuals burdened by personal, familial, and social challenges in my career. My work as a therapist has paved the way for me to help others find wholeness and meet their full potential.

My Professional Biography

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a member in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).

I completed university degrees in psychology and education through Trinity Western University and McGill University. I have a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with a minor in secondary education.

Additionally, I have years of professional experience as a support worker for adults with autism or a mood, psychotic, or personality disorder.

I work with children, teens, adults and couples. I also work with BIPOC clients. My clients often have concerns related to the following:

Depression and anxiety

Low self-esteem

Inner child work

Family and/or relationship difficulties

Borderline or narcissistic personality types

Unresolved issues from childhood

Adults with giftedness

My Counselling Approach

I feel privileged to work with individuals, couples, families, and groups seeking growth and transformation. I often use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in my sessions.

In my gentle nature, I direct clients to attend to their inward selves and invite them to uncover their vulnerable parts. From there, I work with clients to identify their needs and discover ways to meet them.

I strongly value cultural competency. In the therapy room, I offer insight and a new perspective while honouring the context of where each person is coming from.

I offer counselling in Vancouver as well as virtually.
